    Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I started training few months ago, but since April I been taking a break to work on my body and diet. I went in as a fan, and I figured as long I have that passion, it'll trump any humps that I will experience. Humps such as me not physically being ready, which effected my mental to point I was questioning whether I am making the right choice, and should I just find a good job and make a career out of it. One thing I neglected was educating myself, and studying professional wrestling at home. Like you said Mike, Instead of scrolling through social media, or buying that new WWE shop item, I should be pouring into the things that will help me progress. Diet is probably number 1 for me and if you can make a video about taking care one body, that would be great. The part where wrestling is about to hit it's next evolution and it's up to the next class being ready with the tools needed to take that leap, that was very motivating. I feel like in wrestling, everything has been done to an extent and what can someone like me add to this booming business. Thank you Till We Make it, Mike, and everyone on the crew, and I mean EVERYONE. I signed up for the TWMI newsletters, and will be doing my homework watching these videos. You might've made your mistakes, or started off with no coach and or no mentor. But I promise, how you started will not be how you finish. You still have a story to write for yourself and you are blazing the hearts of beginners like me, and for anyone looking to up their game. Thank you Mike, thank you Till We Make It, thank you! From the way you talk to us and not down on us. To the emotion and passion behind your delivery. And to the amazing production from the lighting, to the video length, to the topics. Thank you!

      Dom, thank you for all your kind words here, I read it all, and I’m really touched by what you wrote. I do have a diet-centric video coming very soon, as that’s something I struggle with myself. So I hope it will provide some of the insight you are seeking!

    I always knew you where a humble Person.. and your videos truly help out... I think the one thing to remember is, the only way to success is through failure. Like you you have failed up so many times it is awesome what you have accomplished, and if you look back, I bet you can say, man If I didn't completely embaress myself here, I would have not have pushed myself to be where I am today.. so the stupid silly Check your ego at the door stuff is great, the match structure, how to develop a Gimmick.. in fact every video I have watched from you has be incredibly Fruitful to my development. But the generation after us, NO all, but speaking in generalizations, wants that instant gratification... they dont understand that REAL LIFE IS A MMORPG and you have to GRIND BABY... You dont just start out at pokemon go and catch a CHARIZARD!!! ;). But when people fail the Half way fail, the never put 100 percent in what they do, so they have an excuse, well if I would have went all out I woudl have succeded.. but you are just hurting yourself... When you fail, Fail giving it 100 percent, every last drop of sweat blood and energy.. then evaluate and understand what you could have done better, and dust yoruself off and do it again with that added experience. Its okay to fail its okay to botch something.. INFACT the other day we where doing practice matches.. and they did the universal, and the headlock to shoot off to shoulder tackle, turned into a double shoulder tackle at the beginning of the match... I was like YOOOO THAT IS DOPE... soo coool how they chasnged it up.. and then my boy told me he messed up and wasn't supposed to take a bump.. and it clicked.. I KNOW THE SPOT, it is the first spot I LEARNED.. I know it by heart.. and even I THOUGHT that they mixed it up and it was supposed to happen.. I TOLD him man I thought you guys called that, it looked sooo fluid and real... like and you guys continued the match like it was planned spot... I still think it was dope.. and want to put it my match universal to doube bump shoulder tackle LOL.. I say that to say... even when you mess up.. if the wrestlers dont know... YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THE FANS DONT KNOW... and teh fact the fans complain about wrestling and vice versa.. I take as a positive.. cause the waste so much energy complaining.. because they are invested and continue to watch...the can complain all they want.. BUT THEY CANT GET ENOUGH... so they continue to watch... WHY cause as much as they complain THE LOVE IT MAN... PRO WRESSTLING is just a SOAP OPERA FOR GUYS... look as as the world turns, days of ur lives... Actors and actresses, start out, entry characters then become main characters, then they start bringing in new people up for story lines to so they can become the main character, they retire and fade off or get killed off.. and then every now and then yoru favorite character who retired 5 years ago.. comes back for a special CAMEO or one off story line for a season... I MEAN IF THAT ISN'T PRO WRESTLING I dont know what it is.. and just Like pro wrestling, SOAP OPERA's ASK you to suspend your dis belief, cause some of them story lines are out of this world crazy LOL.

    As someone experiencing negativity about wrestling right now, I do so because I see promotions and promoters and wrestlers that should have years of experience, making big mistakes so repeatedly and carelessly that significantly lessen the enjoyability of the product for me---and furthermore, that they aren't snapping out of it, nor really being called out on it. I have had a hard time finding exactly what appeals to me, so I've just been getting disappointed time and time again looking through stuff I've been led to believe should be good, but to me is not.

    • @TilWeMakeIt
      @TilWeMakeIt 5 днів тому

      I feel this. I see it creep up especially on social media, and I want no part of it. I have a small catalog of the wrestling I like best, that I go back and revisit when nothing new that's being made appeals to me. Do you have stuff you can go batch and watch that keeps you inspired?

    I remember when I was a worker in early 90s. I worked Tijuana for several months. And Mike hit the nail on the head. Was very Arena focused I still have no clue the promotion. Took me several weeks to get used to right hand even though in training we covered that. And the lack of back bumps was not joke. I was more of a power/technical so my move set drastically changed. No to mention how I had to adapt to the roll. Growing up as a fan I watched deportes and Telemundo to watch Lucha matches wasn't until training when I was 18 that I learned the vast difference
